My name is Douglas Ferguson and I am a student at Seattle Pacific University in the Digital Education Leadership program. I started out in education as a math para educator and quickly moved into the classroom where I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade elementary. After teaching for 10 years, I moved into a coaching role as an Elementary STEM Specialist/Coach. For four years, I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with my fellow elementary school teachers on a variety of STEM projects. Most recently, I joined AVID as a Senior Learning Designer where I focus on STEM projects.
